CAUTION: Probably NSFW!

I've long felt that using sex appeal in an ad is a lazy way out. The only exception? If it was used in a really classy manner, but who are we kidding here? Classy, sexy ads are about as rare as a taxi driver who actually signals when he wants to change lane. Yeah.. you get the drift.

These 2 ads are.. low (pun not intended). Seriously, I don't even think the ads are sexy, and let's not even start on classy. Why in the world is D&G and Gucci trying to do a Calvin Klein? I have no idea. If fashion ads have come to this state, something is seriously wrong somewhere. Kopiwriter once said - (There's a) Fine line between “hey, THAT’S an idea!” and “uh-huh. Riii-iiiighhhtt”; and to quote Joey (or is it Chandler) on Friends, "They've crossed the line so far, the line looks like a dot."
Sleazy is the best word I can think of. What do you think?
